“ Well, This group, like many others, strives on membership participation. You have people with different levels of expertise, you'll have from complete experts to the beginners. In this and any other group, there is people that loves the satisfaction of helping others, you can only be as good at something if you can teach it as well to someone else. But one way or another we all end up learning from each other. Photoghraphy as it is today, it is a whole new world with many horizons opening daily. If a person would like to learn Photography, there isn't any better way than to learn it. Join this or another group, a person can participate by simply listening, asking questions. I'm sure somebody will have the answers. And soon before you know it, that new beginner, will be answering those same and other questions. ”

“ Yep - we decided that the next one would be outdoor across the street. If the weather is bad, we will do an in-studio meeting and do photo review / porfolio review, etc... Overally, I received good comments as people were leaving or they just made it a point to tell me afterwards, so it made me feel good. I brought magazine examples of hig//mid/low key photographs, then told everyone that the hogh key shots is what we were after and to pay attention to the magine add and that we would duplicate it, just that the props were differenet. In the end, it worked, we took a picture at every step - no lights, just model lights, then 1 background nova, then both, then front excal, then the other so you could see what each light's impact on the picture was. I turned it over to the group and everyone snapped pics of the Cherie ”
