Meetup.com has recently enabled mailing lists as an ALTERNATIVE to the message board. While you can control the frequency of the emails, some folks hate getting any more email. OTOH, many people find it much more convenient to check and reply to email vs. logging in to the boards. Here's the rub: Currently I have both enabled. Ulitimately this cannot work because there will be 1: Duplication errors, and 2: Missed messages by those who choose one when the message went to the other. PICK YOUR POISON, PLEASE!!!!! I just need to know which method my most active wonderful members perfer.
