Photography Meet Up & Open House @ Chimera Studios

On August 6, 2008, Chimera Studios in downtown San Diego will be having a private open house just for Meet Up Group members. This will be a great opportunity to visit a working professional studio and mingle with pro FX, makeup artists and models.

This event will run from 6:30 till approximately 9:30. Carpooling is advised due to limited parking at the location and only 50 people can attend (this is a combined event from both photography groups so room is set aside for 50 in all).

NOTE: Only those who have rsvp'd will be able to attend.

The studio offers a wide range of unusual sets and costumes as well as state of the art gear, all at our disposal.

If you have ever wanted to step outside the "norm" and into the unusual, this is the place for you. Meet Up group members are encouraged to bring cameras and take full advantage of the props, costumes and models that will be available. All skill levels are welcome!

For one night only, the studio services will be -free- (we strongly encourage tips for the hardworking talent and crew.)
There will special offers, exclusive for Meet Up members, on future promotions.

There is secured parking inside the black iron fence. Spaces are limited, so please CARPOOL if possible.

    As Clay has mentioned below, the models and other staffers will be basically be working for free so any tips you can spare would be greatly appreciated by them.

    I will be coming from Oceanside going south down the 5 ... I already have 1 person carpooling from North County ... If anyone else lives/works right off the 5 I have room for at least 1-2 more! I could always pick you up from The park & ride at La Costa Ave in Encinitas as well! It would be nice to share the cost of the drive, saving gas, & limiting cars!

    I can take 3-4 passengers with me (ok Joanie, you're in). Park and Ride on Mira Mesa Blvd by Best Buy works fine. [3 spots left as on right now]. Contact me to arrange a ride there. I will post another message when all spots (seats) are filled. Your driver (me) appreciates tips! : )
