This group was formed to get other photographers together to share good times, experiences, knowledge and just to have fun together.
Our aim is to provide fun and exciting meetups for all the members. All suggestions for meetups, presentations, or anyway that you think would make this group more fun or more interesting for

RULESEvery group has to have a few rules so here are ours for this group
1) Members are considered to be in good standing, if they are an active member and have paid their dues (or made arrangements for payment. Active members are those who check in/log into the site at least on a monthly basis. You do not have to go to all events to be considered active.
Members who do not check into the site for more than 3 months are considered inactive, and will be removed from the membership.
2) You may only post photos to the album created for YOU, if you are a member in good standing (see #1). You may also post photos for the current event IF you have participated in the event and only those photos taken at the event are eligible for the album. All others will be deleted. If you'd like an album created for you, just ask the Organizer or Assistant Organizer to create it.
3) You may not create albums for independent events. Only the Organizers can create albums. If you'd like an album created, then you need to request that the Organizers create the album. If you are a member in good standing (see #1), then the album will be created for you.
4) If you would like, you can post photos to your profile album at any time. We ask that you limit these photos to 5. We will also make an album for you that you may post photos to in the photo area for critiquing or just to show off a photo you have taken.
5) Photo of the month will be a creative activity. You must be a member in good standing. You are allowed to post only 2 photos and the photos must be taken during the contest period to be eligible. Photos are judged on adherence to theme, quality and composition. Themes for POM will be posted in the message board.
6) If you post an image to this meet-up group you must have the copyright authority to do so. In other words, it must be a photograph you have taken.
Please do not post any other photographer's images without a valid reason. If for some reason, you have a valid reason to post another photographer's image you need to get permission from the photographer and then clearly write a byline that says: "Copyright Jane Doe".Copyright infringement is serious and will not be tolerated.
