Introduction
Amateur who had dreams of photojournalism in High School; and picked back up a SLR again about 1 1/2 years ago & I haven't put it down yet. (ahh a REAL camera again since Pentax K1000 took a walk 11 years ago) Love to play in Photoshop too.
Who is your favorite photographer? and why?
Hmm.. hard to pick just one.. I do tend to like high contrast, nature & candid photography.
Budget is not an issue, what would be your favorite rig? and why?
Probably the 'step' up from my Canon Rebel-the Mark2. Two multi purpose L zooms with IS and a fast F stop. (I love natural light candids where I don't 'announce my presence with the flash) I wouldn't say no to playing with studio lighting either.
What do you hope to get out of the group
Learning; meeting people & making some photo buddies; exploring good photo sites/subjects in our area,
