Introduction
I have been taking pictures for a long time but recently decided to get digital. I am still in a learning phase and would love to find out more on how to do it better.
Who is your favorite photographer? and why?
Robert Mapplethorpe. I have seen very few photographers who can match his eye for human figures and lighting conditions.
Budget is not an issue, what would be your favorite rig? and why?
Nikon D3. I have been a big fan of Nikon for a long time because of their optics and the features they offer. D3 is the best camera I have seen in a while.
What do you hope to get out of the group
