Professional photographer and teacher. Graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography and two other college programs. Taught classes at California College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland, San Francisco Academy of Art College, Chabot College, Hayward, CA
Who is your favorite photographer? and why?
Arnold Newman, Dorathea Lange, Irving Penn, Karsch, and of course the Adams, Weston, Steiglitz camp.
Budget is not an issue, what would be your favorite rig? and why?

What do you hope to get out of the group
I want to connect with students for my workshops and seminars. I want to attend outings. I love shooting and teaching.

Many photo enthusiasts want to make a little income from their hobby, and a small percentage want to eventually go professional full time. This is an excellent way for people to learn from others how that can be done. There were some pro photographers at the meeting that were very open about how they do business. Also, if you want to team up with others to learn new skills and practice your techniques, this is the group for you.
