Introduction
Hi, I shoot professionally, have been making photographs for over 25 years and am shooting mostly digitally now with a Canon EOS system. But I also use and enjoy older film cameras.
Who is your favorite photographer? and why?
Way, way too many great photogs I admire, to try to list them all here. They range from Ansel to Winogrand, Bourke-White to Arbus, Man Ray to George Lepp, Art Wolfe to Art Morris, etc.
Budget is not an issue, what would be your favorite rig? and why?
Saving up my pennies for the newly announced Canon EF 200/2L I.S. and 800/5.6L I.S.!
What do you hope to get out of the group
Interested in meeting other photographers, sharing ideas, talking shop, etc. Photo opps would be great too, especially interested in wildlife and nature, big and small.
Additional Information
"Wildlife/nature/macro photography is my favorite, when time allows. I do some event photography... lately a lot of horse shows. Fun, but there's no danger of getting rich. I'd like to expand into motorsports, especially vintage racing. "
