Fort Casey is located on Whidbey Island and is a wonderful as well as historic location to visit. I've personally been here several times and just keep coming back because it seems I find something new each time. Last time I was up there, some deer decided to graze right in front of me on the grassy area.
Who know's what will happen when we go out there.
Things to bring:
Comfortable clothes and shoes
A lightweight jacket, it's the coast after all and the wind does blow (alot).
Camera and flash (on camera is fine)
Tripod if you are so inclined
Flashlight with good batteries for exploring the interior of the ammunition bunkers (alot of area here folks!)
I might even have a surprise for all of you as well.
Drinking water & a snack, depending on how long we stay out there.
