Bring your camera and gear and meet at the peers!!
Lake Martin is about 10 miles south of Lafayette, Louisiana. It is part open water, and part cypress swamp. There is a hiking trail along the western edge, and a dirt road along the eastern edge. They converge at the north and south ends of the lake. The hiking trail was closed for the breeding season (especially alligators who frequent the trail.) Read more
