There is a show of photographs at the downtown SFU Teck Gallery by well-known radio announcer David Wisdom of Vancouver in the 1970's before the massive immigration and building boom that followed Expo 86. Vancouver was a very different place back then and unfortunately most of it is gone.

I have only seen a few of the images online but I heard it was a good show and being free you won't have to waste any money if you don't like it :)

I saw the show today. It is quite small and without good lighting. The photos are good from a nostalgic POV and I recommend them if you happen to be in the neighbourhood - but I wouldn't make a special trip for it.
