Lock Ridge Furnace Museum is a unique museum dedicated to the anthracite iron industry. Visitors may tour the rebuilt furnace room, the engine house, and cast house originally constructed by the Thomas Iron Company in 1868. Exhibits illustrate how iron was made over one hundred years ago. Numbered signs enable visitors to guide themselves on a walking tour of the site. The museum is administered by the Lehigh County Historical Society.
