Top Pot downtown's balcony level usually has a reasonable amount of natural light. It's an inexpensive, low commitment way to get to know other members of the group. If you want to show off photos on your laptop, there's usually a reasonable number of power strips.
I usually show up a few minutes early and look for people downstairs. Once one or two people appear, I migrate upstairs.
