Narrows of the Harpeth

Weather permitting - We are doing January's meetup at Narrows of the Harpeth.
We will meet in the parking area at the trail entrance around 1:30 PM. We will wait a few minutes before heading to the trial. Please take my number with you and call if you need help finding us.

The trail to the tunnel is an easy walk, around 1/2 mile long on level ground. There is also another 1/2 mile trail that you hike up the bluff for an awesome view.

The Narrows of the Harpeth is the site of one of the oldest man made tunnels in the United States. Canoe rental is available from local outfitters to view this scenic river. Other attractions include fishing, canoeing and breathtaking views along the Bluff Trail overlooking the Harpeth River.

Directions: I-40, Exit 192, N (right) on McCrory Ln. to intersection with Hwy. 70, W (left) on Hwy.70, N (right) on Cedar Hill Rd. Left on Narrows of the Harpeth Road.
