We have reserved the banquet room at the Hometown Buffet in Madison for Feb 21 at 5:30pm. Also, we are going to limit this meetup to 30 people and you will only be able to RSVP yes or no. Jan 24 1:30 PM	Narrows of the Harpeth 39 attended (est.) – 5.008 Weather permitting - We are doing January's meetup at Narrows of the Harpeth. We will meet in the parking area at the trail entrance around 1:30 PM. We will wait a few minutes before heading to the trial. Please take my number with you and call if you need help finding us. The trail to the tunnel is an easy walk, around 1/2 mile long on level ground. There is also another 1/2 mile trail that you hike up the bluff for an awesome view. Narrows of the Harpeth Burns, TN The Narrows of the Harpeth is the site of one of the oldest man made tunnels in the United States. Canoe rental is available from local outfitters to view this scenic river. Other attractions include fishing, canoeing and breathtaking views along the Bluff Trail overlooking the Harpeth River. Directions: I-40, Exit 192, N (right) on McCrory Ln. to intersection with Hwy. 70, W (left) on Hwy.70, N (right) on Cedar Hill Rd. Left on Narrows of the Harpeth Road. Oct 08 25 2008 11:00 AM	Duck Drop 3 attended (est.) – 4.502 UPDATE More details: Lisa's photo wish list (Excel) event map (we meet at the VID) Just wondering if anyone in your crew would be up for filming portions of our event. We have a lot of volunteer photographers, but no videographers. If you will provide the names of those taking photos, I will add them to our contacts list just in the event that they have any issues accessing the bridge, V.I.D., etc. I’d also like to get a couple of folks on a boat if possible. We’re still working out the details for docking the boats/transporting passengers. If you want to assign folks or just touch base with me that day, we’ll get it worked out. We’ll have folks board boats around 12:15pm. ----------------- I'm just starting out here at Boys & Girls Clubs and have quickly entered the quacky world of duck racing! Would be great if your husband wants to take photos at the event October 25th at Riverfront Park. We'll actually be dumping 15,000 ducks (sounds like fifty), but it will still be a unique photo opp. Check out our website for basic info: www.greatnashvilleduckrace.com. Then, let me know if you've got questions. I'd love to have your support. Everything gets started at 11am, but the ducks will drop from the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge (Gateway) at approx. 1pm. The race should last about 30 minutes. How many photographers do you have in your group? (I think Trish mentioned a group of folks...) Would you be willing to donate your photos to us for future promotional use? That would be super swell! Jul 08 19 2008 10:00 AM	The Nashville Photography July Meetup 6 attended (est.) – 5.004 According to the polls we will hold this months meetup at the Opryland Hotel. If you park at the back of Opry Mills parking lot (free parking/theater side) you can follow the path to the rear entrance - bus drop off and valet parking of the hotel. We will meet in the sitting room that is right before you enter into the conservatory. Should be easy to find.
