I think that we should clarify the purpose of this meetup group. We are a group of people that enjoy meeting up every 3rd Saturday of the month to get out and take pictures. If in doing this we are able to help each other along the way, then all the better.
So far we have been able to keep this a ?free? meetup group thanks to Dave. We are in no way in a position to offer classes, guest speakers or even a designated location to hold monthly meetings. This would require more resources than we are able to offer.

If you are looking for more in the way learning I would like to suggest you try some of the local photography clubs. I am aware of 2 of them.

1. Nashville Photography Club

2. Brentwood Camera Club

There are small membership fees to join these clubs and you will find that information on their websites.

If a member knows of someone that would like to give a class or help the group in anyway, we ask that you please let us know. We also want to encourage everyone to post on the message boards things that are happening around town that would make for a great photography outing.

Enjoyed meeting everyone Saturday night. It would be nice to have a couple of people that are good with Photoshop or something else they are good at. They could show us a trick or too or me three and it would have made for a well rounded get together. If I knew anything good about photoshop as an example I would'nt mind sharing. I am going to Lynchburg and ask around about taking pictures and I know a few people at Jack and see what they say.

I will do a little thing on aerial photography if you want me too.
