It's time to start getting everything ready for our picnic coming up in Oct. I think it best to try and keep this very simple as far as planning the food. We normally have so many people to change RSVP's that it would be impossible to try and get a set menu together. So, lets make this a potluck and you bring whatever you want. But please, make sure that you bring plenty.

There will be a few things that we will have to have and I hope to get some volunteers to help out with this.
Must have items will be.

1. Paper plates
2. Utensils
3. Napkins

Let me know if you think you would be able to help with those. As far as drinks go, I am asking that you bring your own cooler of your favorite beverage! And "NO ALCOHOL" is allowed :-) Sorry guys. Please bring enough for you and the guest that come along with you.

The shelter does have a couple of drink machines, around 6 (?) picnic tables, restrooms, vollyball net and a very nice play area for the kiddos. Sadly though, the pier is not open at this time, as it is being rebuilt.
It probably wouldn't hurt to bring a couple of lawn chairs along too.....

The ever busy Ms. Wendy is working on some stuff for the picnic, so be looking for more updates soon.

If you would like, you can send me an email letting me know what dish you would be bringing that would be AWESOME. Just so I have some kind of idea of whats going on.
