I joined last year after the operation was in full swing. Could someone fill me in on the details of how and when it gets organized? How it works? Thanks.

Dear Mary:
Bonnie is the project manager of the event . She has been doing . You could certainly talk to her and help her with the project. thanks B |

I will do this, Banafsheh. That is, if Bonnie needs some help. And if I can figure out how to reach Bonnie!

I'm sure this will be discussed at the next meeting -- and I'm going to post a message/send an email out today soliciting sign-ups -- but essentially it goes like this:
Sign up to participate, then take photos in Boston's Public Garden if you haven't already done so. "Participate" means have a photo in the installation AND stand in the Public Garden holding a big photo on two or more Saturdays in August from 1-3pm -- it does not just mean having a photo in the exhibit. Submit your photo selections (last year we had people submit their best three -- this may change this year) for review and selection. Final photo selections are made (last year we met as a group to review images, it may or may not be the same process this year), we get big prints made and mounted, and by then it's the first Friday in August and we're ready to go ;-) More details to follow for those who sign up! |

BTW, I still have a bunch of photos from people from last year's installation. Contact me if you are looking for your photo.
