About The League City Photography Meetup Group

We are a local group of people who enjoy taking pictures. We are here to learn, to have fun and to shoot photos. I want us to be a place to learn photography and enjoy good company.

There are folks here from all stages of fascination with this great art of photography. You don't need a fancy camera to be a member. You just need a desire to learn, have fun and shoot photos.

I took over as your organizer from our founder, Tom Young and can only hope to keep this group growing and shooting. The only fee involved is if you come back after your first Meetup, please contribute $10 per year to cover the Meetup group service costs. We renew each January and can prorate at about a dollar per month during the rest of the year. If we accumulate funds over what is required, we can have a meetup party or refund some to all who paid.

Please come check us out. I plan to have a learning portion of each meeting. Something for the amateur and pro alike. I am hopeful that some of our pros can share some of their knowledge with us too. In the meantime have fun and keep shooting. Post you photos on this site so we can all share your visions.
