  • I appreciate your support! It's great to have enthusiastic people to "talk shop" with at these meetings. Can't wait to see more of your work. The mini car pic made me smile. :)

  • Jaime: you are SO sweet, thank you! I do miss the group because everyone brings something unique... I have been busy with my travel company (I'll earn $10,000 on my birthday, April 5th!) and painting... some big things happening... still didn't get a new camera... let's get together and chat soon! Call me: 627-3329. Ciao!

  • Hahaha...nope, no baby shower yet! Actually, it should be any day now. I was in the hospital on Sunday and they stopped my labour because I'm a little early still, but if I go into labour again on my own they won't stop it -- here's hoping renovating my house by myself today will put me into labour!

  • Another thing that helps many photographers in both capturing and in editing work flow is to write things down. Take notes of settings on camera, lens, PS and tricks that you do and try different things frequently. This way when you remember something it's because you reflected on your journal and remember what didn't and did work. It also helps us retain more and remember too! Don't get hung up on what people think of your work, rather get hung up on doing more and achieving UR look;)

  • Jaime,
I'm not an expert, otherwise I'd be wealthy and in great demand but, I do want to say one thing that you should consider... don't ever let anyone's critique or interpretive expression leave you upside down. In my opinion, Photography is expression and chance of what God reveals to your eye. I actually pray before I shoot that the good Lord will bless me with a vision He wants me to see. With practice and mistakes you'll see everything coming together and you'll remember what didn't work!

  • Hi Jaime,
I've been far too busy editing and trying to get 7 projects complete before the next one. Editing is a very long process I need to remind myself to add time to do it correctly. Thanks for the shout, I'll try harder next tine to be there. Did you win the grand prize yet?

  • Mine was the little girl on the slide - I knew there was too much shadow on her face, but I wanted the hear the rest of the feedback.

  • Oh So Very Funny Jamie - but perhaps you meant to ask this question to 'Monica' as I have never won anything photography.

Your comps are appreciated, however, and I do thank you.

    Is Duane Behind This?

    Peace 2008,
