About The Bay Area Glamour/Artistic Photography Meetup Group

Hi everyone,

Welcome and thank you for checking out our photography meetup group.

We are almost one year old, and it's been an amazing year. Our meetup consists of an actual photoshoot. We have from 1 to 2 models and anywhere from 6 to 10 photographers at each meetup. I keep a good ratio, so every photographer gets a chance to lead and personalize their time with the models. I am also available to help new photographers with lighting, model posing etc. I have been in this business for over 20 years. Most of our shoots are studio shoots with professional lighting. During the summer, we will also hold some outdoors and beach shoots. I started this group on August 1st, 2007, and has our first meetup on Sept 16, 2007. Since then we have grown, and have had a total of 9 meetups(photoshoots) and have one planned for June 21st, and 2 in July. I try to hold one meetup each month, during the summer, we might have a couple extra ones, and if I have a model in town due to some work that we have to do for a client, it time and our schedules allow, I try to set up a meetup.

Depending on the model, our shoots range from Fashion, Glamour to Artistic Nudes and everything in between.

In the past year, this group has had the opportunity to shoot some amazing models. We had Carlotta Champagne in our studio, she is probably the number one Artistic Nude model in the US.
