- Introduction
- I started with SLR photography in college during the Woodstock era. I moved to digital with a D70 in March of '04 prior to hiking down to Phantom Ranch. I like to hike and shoot in the wilderness. Sometimes I shoot from the window of my plane.
- What's the BEST spot for our next "local photo shoot?"

I love landscape, and AZ is a grand venue for photography. There are so many places and so little time.
- How long have you been shooting?

Since '68. Scary thought
- What's your "style" of shooting? (Portrait? Landscape? B&W? Macro?)

When I was doing film, black and white landscape was my favorite; sort of an Ansel Adams wannabe. Now I shoot digital exclusively, still landscape, but I still have my F100.
- What experience level (would you say) you're at currently?

I'm more proficient with the technical stuff, and concentrate on improving my aesthetic perspective. I'd call myself an advanced amateur.
- What type of camera are you currently using?

Nikon D200 with several lenses: a 17-35mm AFS f/2.8, a 28-70mm AFS f/2.8, a 70-200mm AFS f/2.8, and an 18-70 DX consumer lens for playing around when I don't want to carry the heavy glass.
