Hi,

I need help putting a song to my presentation. I am using Windows XP or Vista. I have cs3, PS Elements 3, and PowerPoint 2007. I found this song that I will download from either an itunes file or mp3 file. Previously, I only used itunes.

When I go to add music from my itunes file I find the file in itunes, select it and then nothing.

Please help. Or do I need to go out and get another program to make this process easier?

Marlene,
I believe for you to use the song with either PS Elements or PowerPoint you need it in a format other than iTunes' .m4p format - it will not play in these programs (or in any slideshow program I've found.).

You will either need to buy the mp3 or convert your iTunes song to a different format. One way to convert the song is to burn it to a cd via iTunes. Then using Windows Media Player rip the song back to your pc. Windows Media Player will save your song to either mp3 or wma - you can choose which format in the Tools - Options menu.

Probably the easiest way for you to use the song is to just buy in mp3.

I hope this helps!

Take care,
Jenny

Thanks for the info.
I ended up buying the song in the mp3 format from Amazon.

Got my new PS Elements 6 and Premiere 4 to create my dvd. Once I uninstalled Internet Explorer 7 from my XP computer it worked great.
