Look for me at the meetup location. My picture is in my profile here if you haven't met me yet. I'll be at or near the entrance of the bike trail which is in the back of the Olympus Pointe 12 Theater Parking Lot. It's very easy to find.

Miner's Ravine Bike Trail
Located in the rear of the parking lot for the Olympus Pointe 12 Theater in Roseville just off of Eureka (very close to I-80)

Time: 10am till we want to leave.

Just bring your camera, tripod or whatever other equipment you might take on an outdoor shoot.

Dress casual and comfortable or in whatever you might want to take your picture in.

We'll practice some basic outdoor lighting situations. Nothing real structured, just some fun and knowledge sharing. There will be some nice scenic area and maybe some flowers too!

No Maybe RSVP's on this one. I turned off the number of guest option because it doesn't reflect an accurate number of available slots, and because this is intended for members to get portraits to post to the profile. However, please feel welcome to bring kids or Significant Others as there will be plenty of space. I just want to make sure that the number of available slots doesn't get taken up by guests that can come anyway :)

I am so sorry I had to miss it the hour was a little early for me. I have a class that ends at 10:30 every Sunday, so it was too late for me to look for you guys there. I went out to the river trails as well and I will share some pics.... I am sure you guys had lots of fun!!!

We had a great time shooting, talking, checking out the sites and then spent some time going to lunch after. I think I'm going to add a can of Bug Replant to my Camera Bag ;)

Glad to see everyone signing up for this one. This should be fun, give us a relaxing time to practice, get good shots and get our portraits taken by someone else. Imagine that, the photographer being in a picture for once! ;)

This is going to be fun! I hope we fill it up. I'm going to bring a diffuser, reflectors and my white balance target. So we'll be able to tone the effects of the sun and get good lighting on the subjects for great shots in pretty much any location we want to shoot a portrait.
