Hello members, I have been waiting for someone to organize a comeback to
Ancil Hoffman Park in Carmichael to get some more nature & wild life shoots. I was there in the winter with the Sacramento Photography group and got some really cool shoots, feel free to check out their album.

So I decided to step in and organize the event myself. All nature lovers are welcome!!!smile

The place also known as Effie Yeaw Nature Center. Please google the park for exact map and directions.

    This is wonderful place and I photograph there quite a bit. This time of year look for bucks at the end of their velvet, cottontails, jackrabbits, turkeys and acorn woodpeckers. I would suggest getting there before 10 a.m. for the best light and most animal activity. I usually start around 6 a.m. Have a great time. I wish I could make it.     That is true, Thats why i didnt put an address my GPS took me Look for the signs they are the most accurate.
