About The New York City Human Form & Lighting Photography Workshop

Workshops consist of anything we can think of regarding different lighting techniques:
Nude and non-nude figure studies
Portraiture
Still-lifes

Workshop fees vary according to cost (models, locations, etc...), and members are encouraged to contribute ideas, locations, props, anything..

Members will meet prior to each workout shoot to discuss individual needs and goals, plan the shoot, and figure out who's handling what (lights, backdrops, models, etc...).

This needs to be done in order to create an atmosphere where we all come away from the shoots with shots we're proud of!!

We're open to (almost) all ideas, this is a group/workshop where everyone will have a say and access to all facets of the shoots.

I encourage everyone to come to the monthly meeting with their portfolio to show off, as well as any shots/books you find interesting and want to try to emulate!!

For members who are into filmming or photographing horror or adventure movies, we have obtained permission for you to use certain area's of a cavern that is located underneath the former slaughterhouse building.
