Hi everyone. For those of you who asked me yesterday at the Curvoflite shoot for some book recommendations, here are three that I have found helpful.

1. "The Digital Photography Book" by Scott Kelby

2. "The BetterPhoto Guide to Digital Photography" by Jim Miotke

3. "Understand Exposure (Revised Edition)" by Bryan Peterson

All have been great reference sources for me. If you're not familiar with Half.com, you may want to check out the site and search for the books there. Often you can get a great deal.

Hope this info is helpful to those of you who asked.

Looking forward to seeing you all again at another shoot.

Thanks for the great list Liz! If anyone has any other recommendations please add to the list!

A book that's been recommended often for lighting is:

Light: Science and Magic: An Introduction to Photographic Lighting
by Fil Hunter

And if you have an interest in wedding photography, this book was highly recommended on a photography site I frequent:

Digital Wedding Photography: Capturing Beautiful Memories
by Glen Johnson

If you're looking for a camera specific book, I can highly recommend the Magic Lantern books. They are written clearly and stick to the topic at hand.
