Introduction: Hi! This sounds like a great meetup; I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and exploring Cape Ann. I'm still working on beginning photo-taking skills with an SLR but enjoy the whole process of noticing, taking, and editing photos.
Camera Gear: nikon d80
Experience Level: I'm a beginner in terms of photo-taking skills. I took an intro class last summer but haven't had a lot of time to practice since then. I'm more advanced with digital photo technology; I've written photo processing & printing software.
Favorite photography subject?: outdoors - urban or rural, close-up or distance
What do you hope to gain from joining a photography group?: I'd like to improve my technical skills, see what other people are seeing/doing, and enjoy a pleasant afternoon with people with common interests.
