Needed: New Organizer

Sorry guys, my husband has got orders to Japan. We will be leaving El Paso at the end of the month. I never thought I?d be sad about leaving El Paso but I am because of the group. I feel like it is finally getting off the ground and I?d hate to see it go so quickly. What we need is for someone to become the new organizer for the El Paso Photography Meetup Group. You don?t have to be a professional photographer or anything. You just need some creativity and the ability to gather people.

When I started this group in October, I got the six-month subscription. It was a $72.00 investment. I figured if there wasn?t any interest in the first month I would get my money back and if I couldn?t get any interest by six months then I probably shouldn?t be a meetup organizer. The subscription ends 15April 2008. If you want to keep this group going everyone needs to pitch in. Now there are 28 people in this group, if everyone can donate $5, it would keep the group going for one more year. We also need at least one person to be the Organizer. Please consider this.

Now I am not telling you what to do. I am just making a suggestion. Please reply to this message or contact me if you have any suggestions..I am leaving 01April 2008, so I will remain as organizer until some agrees to take over or until 29March2008. If someone agrees to take over I will gladly donate $10.
