This group is designed for anyone who wants to learn to take better pictures. I hope that we have great discussion, regular presentations, great sharing/storytelling through photos, helpful critiques, periodic activities and a nice social experience.

As a nature/travel photographer (mostly), but also with a background in portrait, model and landscape photography, I have enjoyed taking photographs from different corners of the world. These days I am focusing on astrophotography, and have enjoyed learning all of the techniques to bringing out great photos of the night sky. I have shot other kinds of photos as well and am quite skilled at Photoshop.

I thought it would be fun to bring together people with common interests to explore photography even further, and to inspire and teach each other, and to do excursions we might not otherwise do alone. With a small group, we can meet in my home - or one of the local meeting spots around town.
