All-

November is here again and it is time for Paris Photo! This year, Arab and Iranian photographers will be highlighted, so this is a great chance to see images and photographers that you have never seen before.

Unfortunately, there is no group discount this year, so we will need to pay full price (15€) unless you are eligible for one of the student or other discounts that they offer. ( See their website: http://www.parisphoto.fr/ )

I recommend that you buy your ticket ahead of time online to avoid the crowd on Saturday morning. Here is the link: http://www.parisphoto.fr/boutique.html?v=shop

We will meet at 11h00 in the Carrousel du Louvre, on the steps next to the entrance to the exhibition space. See you on Saturday!!

This meetup is on SATURDAY.

Montmartre vineyards are roughly 1555 sqm, comprised mostly of gamay and pinot noir; production is very small with about 1700 bottles each year and about 40 € a bottle…
Since 1934 the annual Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre is celebrating the harvesting of the grapes. During 4 days the cobbled streets will be filled with celebrations, musicians, and stalls selling regional produces.
For more details: http://www.fetedesvendangesdemontmartre.com

We cannot do everything so here is the program of Saturday:
-3PM. We will accompany Le Grand Défilé, a parade in honour of Bacchus, with the Harvest Queen, people in costumes and brassbands, will start from Mairie du 18ème, go through the hills and finish at Place des Abesses.
-6PM: Sathish, a member of Photo meetup, lives near by and has kindly invited us to his apartment for a well deserved break. Please bring some drinks/snacks to share. His address: 105, Rue Marcadet,75018.
I will meet you in front of his building at 6pm. If you arrive late call me or Sathish at 06 46 76 56 72 to get the door codes and floor.
-8PM : We will leave Sathish’ place to walk to Sacré Cœur, to support « Pyramide des Castellers », a typical tradition of Catalonia which consists in building human towers; everybody- men, women, children, takes part! For the very first time, 130 Castellers d' Esparreguera will join us.
-9:30PM : From Parvis du Sacré Cœur we admire the Fireworks , with sound and light show.

Taking pictures, listening to music and drinking wine. How perfect is that?

It will be crowded, so let’s meet at 2:15pm , at the exit of metro Marcadet Poissonniers, line 4 or 12, and we walk to Mairie du 18ème. As we will do many places I will distribute a map of 18ème so you won't get lost (or less)

Until its decline in the 1960s, the area now covered by the Parc de Bercy was the bustling center for wine importation and storage in Paris. The long-abandoned warehouses have been replaced now by a fascinating park of multiple designs and uses, with apartments, shops, elegant gardens and bridges, a fun skateboard/rollerblade park, and a small vineyard.

The weather will still be sunny, so why not enjoy a picnic before and we will go for a photoshoot in the rest of the park labyrinth.
Please bring your own food and drink and let’s meet Sunday at 1pm at the exit of metro Quai de la Gare, line 6.
