Event Info
We had decided on Shenk's Ferry this month since spring/April is such a great time for wildflowers down there. Here's more information on the location (note: the address listed at the location above is not accurate. Meetup.com requires I put in a physcial address but there is no street address for the preserve. The address is for the nearby campground so please don't use it for directions per se).

Carpooling
Since the shoot is at 2, for those interested in carpooling let's meet at the parking lot in front of A.C. Moore at 1:20 or so since it takes roughly a half an hour to get down to Shenk's Ferry. For those who are interested in carpooling please just email me and I'll compile a list so we'll do our best not to leave anyone behind. Also, please email me if you're willing to be a carpool driver.

Also, if anyone has any ideas for a gathering place for those interested in swapping info and snots after the shoot, we're all ears, or we can play it by ear, or any other ear-related phrase-ology you can come up with.

Looks like the group had another successful event. Sorry I couldn't make it. I had to shoot video in New York City.

This is the type of shoot that right up my alley! I may not be able to make this shoot but I hope that there will be more of the like in the near future.

I want to come but have a previous engagement that I am going to try to get out of.

The Wildflower preserve that I was thinking of that is only open one day a year is Chanastocka in Manor township.

Who attended?

    •  We persevered even through the "prediction" of bad weather so that was good. I think I learned as an organizer there's a lot more contingency planning I have to do from a communication standpoint, especially when there is travel involved. It worked out well, but I think I could have done more to make the afternoon go smoother. Thanks to everyone who attended!

We had a good time. Although the rains came, just enough to spoil the fun we started to have. It was a good time overall and glad we were able to get some shooting in. Can't wait for the next on.
    •  Some sunnier, less wet weather would've been nice, but it was otherwise a lot of fun! I had never been to Shenk's Ferry and was amazed at all the flowers and photo ops.
    •  Always good company and I come away having learned something new. I appreciate having the wisdom of the group as I grow my photography skills!
