- Introduction
- I want to meet others interested in still photography in todays digital age. Almost anyone can take a great photo with little knowledge of point and shoot cameras and being in the right place at the right time. I just want to share ideas and learn
- Tell us a little about yourself.

I worked as a industrial photographer at the Nevada Test Site for a long time. The photo of this Cacti is as close as I ever came to an alien.
- What is your favorite subject?

Finding that great shot when hiking to a place that I've never been to before.
- What's your experience level?

Technical High School, art major, photography minor. US Navy photographer (4 years) and the Nevada Test Site / Nellis AFB (40 years). Now retired doing what ever, when ever I feel like being creative.
- What are you currently shooting with?

Speed Graphic, Nikon N-90, Sony Video, and a point & shoot Panasonic.

“ I've come up with some matchbooks with excerpts from his weekly Texas Straight Talk column on the inside and am selling them on ebay. Search for Ron Paul matchbooks on ebay. These are great for handing out to people on the street or whereever and even non-smokers keep a book of matches around. Rather than talk about how smart the man is, show people with his own words! “ Welcome Von. The Next meeting will always be the second thursday of the month, so you never need to guess. The location will be picked when we know how many will attend the kick-off. Main thing here is this will be an active live networking group, not an email group like most of the other meetups. Have a safe trip in Colorado and get lots of super shots. Next time could you make a little room for us though?
