Introduction

My name is Nick, and I have been into photography since I left high school in 1989. After high school, I bought my first camera, a Canon EOS 650, and still use it today. I want to focus my efforts on portraiture and modeling.

What equipment do you own?

Canon EOS 650 and a 430EZ flash Canon AE-1 Minolta X700 Canon 20D 580EX flash BG-E2 battery grip

What type of photography do you enjoy most (nature, street-life, studio, landscape, etc)?

I love doing all types of photography, but my passion is working with people. I do take my camera almost everywhere I go, and if I see something, I will photograph it.

How long have you been doing photography? All levels are welcome.

I have been doing some type of photography since I was 18, but am pretty new to working at it as a business.

What should we do at meetups? (free forum disscusion, contests, review and critique our own work, organize photo trips, etc.)? Please provide as much feedback as you can.

I feel that this area, although a hub for the east coast, is left out of many workshops and training. I think as a group, focusing on increasing the skills as a whole would help us fare much better.
