Hello. For this coming meetup on Wednesday, December 3rd at 8pm we’ll be meeting at 306 Abbott Street just one street north of Water Street in Gastown (Intersection is Abbott and Cordova). It’s important that you are there on time because the studio is on the second floor and there is no way to access the building after we close the front door. We will be downstairs greeting guest until just after 8, but be on time because after we leave the front door there is no way to enter the building.

For our first meetup we are going to showcase a surprise short photography film that will highlight a world renowned art photographer and videographer. It’s an incredibly creative film that is inspiring for even the most seasoned photographers. Afterwards there will be a general discussion about the visual images used in the film.

After the film and discussion we are going to collaborate and build a list of the best outdoor shooting locations in and around Vancouver in the winter time. We all probably know of a few “secret spots” in Vancouver that we love to frequent with our cameras. This will allow us to expand on our knowledge of the city and find new places around the city to photograph.

We will also have a draw for a half day of free studio time. Don’t forget to bring your business cards!

Also all experience levels and ages are welcome.
