Every month we'll be getting together at the Duke Street Annex of the Art League School to share tips about technique and gear, (gently) critique each other's work, listen to presentations by professionals and to just enjoy the company of other folks who are into photography, regardless of whether its done through film, ditital, or some other technology we haven't come considered yet.
The group has a wide range of experience levels, from folks just starting out to professionals who've worked in the field and are happy to share their knowledge of it with others.
It's always a relaxed gathering, and whether you're from Alexandria, the DC area, or just here on vacation...you're welcome to stop by and share.
(Note: we're renting space for the workshop from the Art League School in Alexandria, but we're not affiliated with them in any way. Art League students and instructors are welcome to come by and sit in though, and of course...they're welcome to join the group.)
