We're carrying over the theme from the ill-fated November meetup and doing casual portraiture, also called environmental portraiture for the theme.

What that means is that you don't use special backgrounds, but place the subject amidst things that mean something to them, or just shoot a headshot. Writers at their desks, cooks in the kitchen, folks just relaxing in their favorite chair.

You don't have to shoot in the theme, though. Feel free to choose your own.

We're doing the "Three shot critique," as usual.
Let's get those photos in by the Sunday, before the meetup.

I'll be bringing EggNog to help celbrate the holidays, and everyone's welcome to bring holiday cookies if they like. No pressure though...I'm sure we're all trying not to gain twenty pounds before the new year.
