Someone has to start one and I couldn't find any existing groups in Leicester. I guess I would hope that all people of all sorts with any interest in photography and any equipment might like to get together with others to share knowledge, experience, ideas. Maybe critique each others' work etc. Possibly share/swap equipment. Looking at post production, displaying and printing as well as capturing the image........whatever we want!

I currently run a Photography Group, but thought it would be nice to set up a Social Group for the odd outing, dinner and drinks etc. I will probably try to schedule a few things each month (to fit in with my hectic life) but members are more than welcome to host their own events. To clarify why I charge an admin fee for this meet up group, all organisers have to pay monthly fees to Meetup.com to run groups and it is recommended that we charge members to cover our costs.
