People enthusiastic about all things photography. This group is for anybody that loves to take photos, share knowledge and meet up and point and shoot. If you are organizing a class, event, club meeting, photo walk or are just looking for somebody to have a beer with and talk about photography feel free to join.  Any off topic or commercial solicitation for services will be frowned upon. Hosting a fee based workshop or class is OK but no blatant advertising of services.   

I would like to thank Will Fields for having the insight to start this Meetup Group in May of 2011. Will start this group for people in the photo community. Not to be a camera club but rather a place for experienced photographers to meet and talk. As of November 18th I have taken on the organization of Photography in West Michigan. In doing so I think we can benefit the photographic community by expanding the invitation to join this Meetup to all those interested in Photography.

This meetup is for people who love to watch birds and other wildlife. We will meet at natural areas and move slowly, quietly and in small groups, so as to have a chance to observe and not startle and scare away the creatures we're trying to see and appreciate. Families and nature enthusiasts encouraged to join. Interested children and youth as long as accompanied by a grown-up also welcome.
